Calculate your Square Footage
How to Calculate the Square Footage of Your Lawn
In order to determine the amount of artificial grass needed for your project, you will have to calcualte the square footage of your lawn. You can get the square footage by multiplying the Width by the Height of the area to be covered in turf (see diagram). If your lawn is not a perfect rectangle or square, make sure you measure the widest part of your lawn and the longest to ensure you get enough turf to completely cover it. Keep in mind that most of our golf turf rolls are 12 feet wide instead of 15 feet wide. To calculate the total cost for the synthetic grass multiply the total square footage of turf needed by the price per square foot.
Example: 600 square feet at $2.31 per sq. ft. will cost $1,386.0020 feet x 30 feet = 600 square feet
600 square feet x $2.31 = $1,386.00
